What the heck is quiche?

Quiche (/ˈkiːʃ/ keesh) is a savoury, open-faced pastry crust with a filling of savoury custard with cheese, meat, seafood, and/or vegetables. Quiche can be served hot or cold. It is part of French cuisine but is also popular in other countries, particularly as party food. (Party in your mouth food!)

How do I heat it up?

The quiche comes already fully baked. To heat it up, place the quiche on a cooling rack, pizza stone, or pizza pan. Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 350° and bake for 18-23 minutes. Remove from oven and let the quiche set for 1-2 minutes prior to serving. For best presentation, slice the quiche chilled prior to heating. By the slice? 5-7 minutes is all that’s needed.

How many servings in a quiche?

Depending on what else you’re serving with the quiche (or how hungry you are!), it serves 6-8. Be forewarned, they’re so delicious you might not be able to stop at only one slice!

What do I serve with quiche?

The possibilities are endless! It depends on when you are serving it. As a breakfast option, I would suggest serving it with fruit or breakfast potatoes. For a lunch or dinner option, I would suggest pairing it with greens or soup.

Do you sell it by the slice?

We only sell them whole, but you can find a slice at any of these locations here.

Quiche will typically stay good for 4-6 days if kept refrigerated.

What is your most popular quiche?

The Breakfast Anytime quiche (ham, bacon, cheddar, diced red bell peppers) and the Lorraine (bacon, swiss, light onions) are by far the most popular. Vegetarians go for the Spinach and Artichoke quiche, while kids love the Ham and Cheddar quiche.

Are there any kid-approved quiche?

You bet! The Ham and Cheddar quiche is a big hit with the kids.

Can I eat quiche cold?

Why yes, yes you can! It is just as delicious. It’s been said that quiche was traditionally served cold.
